So few gameplay elements in past titles would aggravate me more than dealing with helpless escorts. One example I always refer back to is Ashley in Resident Evil 4. Anyone who owned a Gamecube may remember a certain title that put game developer Silicon Knights on the map called Eternal Darkness. Since the game’s release in 2002, the studio has released three games including the depressingly abysmal X-Men Destiny and Too Human.
They were also involved in a lawsuit battle with Epic Games which they lost. This resulted in financial loss, destroying all unsold copies of X-Men Destiny, Too Human, and three unfinished and unannounced titles.
Now we get the announcement that a sequel for Eternal Darkness is in the works called Shadow of the Eternals and under a brand new studio called Precursor Games. What do we know about this intriguing project so far? Check out below after the reveal trailer!
